What time is check-in/out?
Check-in is anytime from 4-10pm Please request a late check-in if you are planning to arrive after this time.
Check-out is by 10am. Please vacate you room and return your key to reception by this time. There will be a £20 charge for lost keys.
What is your cancellation policy?
We do not take payment at time of booking but require a bank card to secure your booking.
Bookings cancelled less than 7 days before arrival will incur a 10% cancellation fee. No shows will be charged the full amount.
Full payment will be taken 7 days before your visit.
Please contact us directly if you would like to amend/cancel your booking.
Do you take group bookings?
We welcome polite and considerate groups. For bookings of 8 people+ and/or private hire please contact us directly.
Do you accommodate children?
We welcome children of all ages and have rooms that are perfect for families.
Children 12 years+ are charged at the full adult rate.
Children 2 – 12 are charged at a reduced rate of £20 per night.
Children under 2 are free but please advise whether you require a cot (we have one) or will bring your own. Note that not all rooms have space for a cot.
Are linen and towels included?
Yes, bed linen and towels are included.
Do you provide breakfast or other meals?
We are a self-catering accommodation with shared cooking facilities.
Breakfast is not included however we will always leave some items out for guests including a choice of cereals and bread from our local community owned bakery.
We are also pleased to stock a range of frozen Cook meals (www.cookfood.net) that just need to be put in the oven, items are individually priced.
Dunbar has a great range of cafes, restaurants and take-aways which we are happy to recommend.
Are you dog friendly?
We have a limited number of dog friendly rooms but these must be booked in advance.
We take an additional payment of £5 / night to help cover additional cleaning costs.
Do you have a secure storage for bikes and luggage?
We have secure cycle and board storage units in our courtyard. If you wish to reserve a space in advance, please advise when booking. There has been a delay to the delivery of the units so bikes are being locked in the laundry room in the meantime.
You can store luggage in our lockable store-room at reception.
We have CCTV cameras covering the rear courtyard and the front reception area, both of which are locked overnight.
Is there on-site parking?
Unfortunately, we have no dedicated parking so if you are travelling by car you will be able to park by the Railway Station (for a small fee) or on side streets in the area.
If you need to stop in front of the building to drop off luggage please make sure it is for a very limited period to avoid congestion.
